3 LEGGED LIDDED BOWL
The lid is Padauk, an exotic wood that is a bright orange or almost crimson wood when freshly cut, but oxidizes to a darker, rich purple-brown over time. The bowl American Black Cherry.
WOOD TURNED PENS
BUCKEYE BURL BOWL
A burl results from a tree undergoing some form of stress. It may be caused by an injury, virus or fungus. Most burls grow beneath the ground, attached to the roots as a type of malignancy that is generally not discovered until the tree dies or falls over.
SALTED PECAN TABLE WITH BENCHES
The Spalted Pecan book matched boards used for the table top created interesting patterns. The base and legs for the table and benches are stained maple.
NATURAL EDGE BOWL
Made from a White Dogwood tree, that unfortunately died in our front yard.
CUSTOM GUITAR
Indian Rosewood with a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany neck. The design is based on a Martin 00.
